After watching players in real time at the event, we realized some of you heroic button-mashers were speed-running the choices...

So here comes the Anti-Masher Update - a small patch to make interactions a little clearer and hopefully, smoother.

Improvements

  • Choice Extra Step: Choices now require an extra step. No more accidental decisions from rapid fingers!

  • Desk Drawer Navigation: Tan’s hand now using to navigate the contents inside the drawer.

Some more small updates

  • More Item Hints in DialogueWe added subtle new hints through conversations to help players notice useful items or clues.
  • Reworked LinesAdjusted several “reluctant” or “easily misunderstood” lines.

  • Fireplace & Sink Interactions: Tan now reacts when you try to burn or wash random items. Steam post image
