Refunds and Feedback

As a game still in Early Access it is expected that there are some missing features and a few bugs. I work very hard at listening to feedback/bug reports to quickly fix any issues that are raised.

I work very hard at listening to feedback/bug reports to quickly fix any issues that are raised. I really do value your time and I want you to enjoy Bedroom Blackjack.

Refund policy

There have been a small number of refunds. Most of these people have simply refunded the game without leaving me feedback.

If you have refunded the game I am sorry you did not enjoy it and while I respect your right to a refund I'd really like the opportunity to talk to you. A quick conversation about the bug or your disappointment allows me to actually fix it.

Sometimes I am not aware of a bug or your expectations for Bedroom Blackjack. I cannot fix what I do not know. So let's talk.

Here is what I am going to do improve in future.

Gameplay Video

Demo

I am currently looking into releasing a free to play demo. There is no better way to give someone an idea of what to gameplay expect than to actually play a small piece of it.

However, ​the game was never designed to be partially consumed so it might take some fiddling to make a demo work.

I'll let you know once I know more.

Splash Screen

I will add a new screen to the game that outlines what Early Access means and a little about how to provide feedback.

This will be in the next release.

Bug Reporter

Going out of your way to write a bug report can be a lot of effort. I know.

I am going to try and build a convenient button into the game that takes a screenshot and allows you to enter a brief description of the bug and sends it to me.

I don't quite know when this will be ready.

This is not a one sided process. You are included too and you can make a real difference to the game. You can report bugs or request a feature or outfit.

Bug report

Bug reports are extremely useful for me. I do have crash reports that I can read and decode, but it is a whole lot easier if you contact me and let me know a few things

  1. A brief description of the bug you experienced and the behaviour you observed. e.g. Natsu keeps dealing cards to herself until the game crashes.

  2. Steps I can follow to reproduce the bug. e.g. Press the "Deal" button and then press the "Esc" key before the first card is dealt.

  3. Screenshot(s) of the bug, if possible, can be key to solving the issue.

Feedback

Sharing your thoughts is important because it lets me know what kind of game you want to play and if there is anything getting in the way of you enjoying the game.
