changed📊 Beastie Usage Stats! As has become tradition, we've collected a ton of data on Beastie usage during this event and we're happy to share that data with you for further investigation!
changed> Check out the STATS here! With their defensive profile and access to the Spirit-boosting pass Faith, Tortanchor is a great support for Rally teams. But largely it seems they're even more beloved for their synergy with Rhythm and body offense! Mascurry, Lunaptra and Bongus all work great with Tortanchor to deliver heavy hits while passively recovering stamina, advancing on opponents inexorably.
added🙇 Thank you!!!This was the first Bash after a major balance patch, so I know many players are still experimenting to figure out what the new best thing is and are also sensitive to anything that feels stronger or weaker than it did just a week ago. The next Bash will be an open format one where we'll be able to collect a lot more useful balancing data. I'll say that results from this Bash haven't highlighted any balance emergencies yet. Everything is performing within ranges that we like so far. It'll be exciting to see how players develop their teams for upcoming events!

🏆 Final Results!

Tortanchor is your Ocean King! Congratulations!

Surprisingly, Tortanchor was the clear underdog for popularity - that honor instead was held firmly by Broslidon. But Tortanchor's strength and teamwork on the field set them apart in a big way and got them this Bash win.

Now let's take a look at the coaches who scored highest this time around!

👑 Top-Scoring Players

  1. Juninha (The Valiant Hearts) | Bash Score: 3016

  2. Ket (The Lonesome Lovers) | Bash Score: 2992

  3. Vega (The Dancing Dragons) | Bash Score: 2988

  4. Boris (The Rutile Lights) | Bash Score: 2956

  5. Darc Tech (The Arcane Robots) | Bash Score: 2924

  6. Sadie Bear (The Sea-faring Salespeople) | Bash Score: 2908

  7. UrBestie (The Seaside Stars) | Bash Score: 2884

  8. Mabel (The Clashing Roses) | Bash Score: 2880

  9. Score (The Jamming Ballers) | Bash Score: 2868

  10. Phoenix (The Flaming Feathers) | Bash Score: 2800

  11. AirMan121 (The Bugs) | Bash Score: 2768

  12. Zonk (The Violet Enigmas) | Bash Score: 2764

  13. Arc Tech (The Arcane Machines) | Bash Score: 2724

  14. Ultra-Nero (The Newborn Novas) | Bash Score: 2692

  15. ence (The Legendary Items) | Bash Score: 2648

  16. cammy (The Sleeping Dragons) | Bash Score: 2640

  17. WebBowser (The Questing Beasts) | Bash Score: 2624

  18. Sabrewoif (The Inglorious Shamblers) | Bash Score: 2616

  19. Jack (The Mega Beasts) | Bash Score: 2600

  20. Hallow (The Nefarious Pants) | Bash Score: 2594

  21. Nalathni (The Tiny Dragons) | Bash Score: 2592

Despite the strict team themeing, this Bash was no less competitive than others. A lot of familiar faces gave it their all to make it to this leaderboard. Congratulations! I have to give a special shout-out to Jack and The Mega Beasts. I hear they're a bit of a dark horse shaking things up in the League. Their bond with their Beasties must be something else to come so far in this contest!

📊 Beastie Usage Stats!

As has become tradition, we've collected a ton of data on Beastie usage during this event and we're happy to share that data with you for further investigation!

> Check out the STATS here!

In addition to these usage stats, here's a look at the most common pairings in each guild this Bash!

Tortanchor

  1. Mascurry - 23.3%

  2. Lunaptra - 18.2%

  3. Bandicraft - 17.2%

  4. Plumask - 16.2%

  5. Bongus - 15.6%

Broslidon

  1. Supilero - 31.2%

  2. Goofsder - 20.8%

  3. Bandicraft - 20.3%

  4. Daredillo - 15.7%

  5. Beetlback - 13.6%

Broslidon's favorite teammates don't favor healing so much, but they all pack or enable a fast-moving offensive style! Broslidon fits flexibly as an great attacker or offensive support themselves, so it makes sense to see them working well with these sorts.

Riplash

  1. Bandicraft - 24.9%

  2. Kasaleet - 20.8%

  3. Hopra - 20.5%

  4. Noizard- 18.3%

  5. Cherrily - 13.9%

Riplash is the least flexible of the guild Beasties this time around; if you have a Riplash, they're there to hit stuff hard. So their common teammates are mostly supporters who help Riplash do that job... with Kasaleet apparently often thrown in as a back-up attacker who can easily benefit from the same support that synergizes with Riplash. I think it's pretty neat to see all 3 starters represented in Riplash's partner list. It's giving main character energy.

🙇 Thank you!!!

This was the first Bash after a major balance patch, so I know many players are still experimenting to figure out what the new best thing is and are also sensitive to anything that feels stronger or weaker than it did just a week ago. The next Bash will be an open format one where we'll be able to collect a lot more useful balancing data. I'll say that results from this Bash haven't highlighted any balance emergencies yet.
