Hi everyone,
We have pushed a pretty big update to the demo!
Card Visual Update
We've done a pretty intense revamp to the card graphics including more cohesive pixel art and icons for common keywords to make the cards easier to read at a glance. We compared it to the earlier iterations, and the winner is clear...
High Score Update
We also have a new high score system. Each time you beat the demo you can post your high score, which is the total combined score of all of the levels for that run. I am excited to see what kind of high scores people will be able to reach! Try to beat the developer's score! And beat our cats' scores. They aren't very good at the game.
Goo Update
Lastly, we have modified goo. Goo blocks off parts of the match board and can be freed by matching ingredients adjacent to the goo. Now ingredients can be stuck in goo, but you cannot target them with your cards. You can indirectly manipulate these Goo-ed ingredients, and you can sometimes get your powerful infusions stuck in the goo, which I think is funny.
