Beacon Patrol changes
First off we want to thank every one of you that sent us Feedback!
You amazing people have sent us over 250 responses! 🤯
We read every positive and negative feedback you send us and it influences our development constantly.
What Your Feedback Has Done So Far
Here are a few improvements that would have never happened without your help:
Exploration Mode! Your feedback on First Horizons was invaluable to creating the main game mode.
Gamepad controls reworked
Tutorial reworked
Countless UI improvements
Added Sounds & Animation when you receive points and new tiles
Added visual guides to explain why a tile cannot be placed at a location
Fixed MANY small bugs we never encountered before
Added MANY small improvements
Added Drag & Drop for placing tiles (but you can't see it... the UI can't handle that yet...)
Improvements Over Time
This is my favorite development so far: We can measure how you helped us improve the game!
Nearly every gave the fun a positive rating since we launched the new demo in may 😍

While it's not perfect yet, we were also able to improve the tutorial and user experience to get people onboard faster!

We Are Still Listening
You have sent us some really exciting ideas that are not implemented. While some will not be added (e.g. Player vs Player, Tropical Storms that destroy tiles), many are under consideration.
We have heard your requests for new challenges, house rules, tile types, cosmetics and other content.
We can't make any promises, but we always look to your feedback when we plan our next steps.
Thank you for your amazing support! 🫶
