Be Hero changes
First things first
Hey there! How are you folks doing?
Well, first of all, I'd like to apologize for the hiatus in communication here on Steam. This was a serious mistake on my part and it’s wrong. I’ll try to be better by bringing weekly information about the game and its development here.
Unfortunately many bad things happened over here (yes… after all those bad things that happened at the end of last year) and that ended messing up with my work productivity and my focus. :’(
And if you aren’t already aware, Be Hero’s team is just two people. So if something bad happens with one of them it ends up affecting the game development, even though we don’t want it to.
That said, the game development never stopped. We love this project and we’re putting all our efforts on it since May 2019 and we’ll keep on doing that until the game is finished, released and in its future updates.
That’s why I came here to bring you some important information regarding the future.
About the Updates
We have all the content of the 0.80 update ready for some time, however we will not publish it yet.
The reason is that some new mechanics were implemented and others were improved following feedback we had from our community (like player skills and city buildings), but this ended up causing several incompatibilities in the game’s saves.
For some time I tried to get around this, and I could even do it, but I was spending a lot of time doing "work arounds" which I didn't like and it wasn't going to be good.
Thus, we decided to group the next 3 updates into one big update, leaving the game very close to the final stage and having to "reset" the saves only once, as had been planned since the beginning of Be Hero's development.
I know that isn’t ideal, but it’s going to speed up the development of these next two updates, so we’ll reach the final version sooner.
Well then, what is already done?
I'll summarize, as these are not the patch notes. But just to give you an idea of what is ready:
New buildings were added to the town
Several areas were redone or improved
A dozen semi-procedural areas were added
The swamps were added
Added The Lord of Fear's lair
Added New minerals
Added and unlocked the mine elevators quest/mechanics
A bunch of new enemies were added
Added new tools
Added new quests
Added new NPCs
Added new gameplay mechanics
The skill tree was revamped
The tavern board was revamped
The town buildings were ajusted
We've implemented a lot of QoL improvements
We've polished several game assets
Varios bugs were fixed
We've rebalanced skills, player experience, building cost, mineral distribution in mines, enemy distributions across maps, and much more.
Various audio improvements
And the list goes on...

I'm working in some stuff at the same time, like:
Ajust and polishment of some menus
Implementing of new dungeon areas
Polishing of many game assets
Finishing adjusting and adding the barn and the chicken coop
Many other things I can say right now to prevent spoilers
