BBY DON'T HURT ME changes
Build 29-6-26 Hotfix / Upgrades
Couple of bug fixes and improvements have been added!
FIXES / Upgrades:
Kyrie gets mod import voicelines added
Kyrie gets additional voicelines added in the mod creator
The ZZZs no longer flip in sleep mode (when mirror is enabled in desktop)
Zoe's tablet now includes the desktop stomp toggles
Fixed bug where selecting a character, the screen turns into full screen
The shatter SFX in desktop stomps has a little more variety
Additional News:
Our team recently held a poll on Discord and your votes have officially decided to overhaul the entire base game to include an entire VN while maintaining the desktop companion aspect. We're currently mapping out the HOWL building, adding new characters and interactable lore.
(The poll in question)
Expand BBY DON'T HURT ME to be more lore heavy with more comic scenes and writing. BBY DON'T HURT ME's interview screen will be overhauled to be a VN, room traversals like helltaker, mobile phone for contacts etc with undertale like bleeps. The current desktop companion mechanics will stay but only in desktop mode. This may affect DLC characters since we'll need to try and weave them into lore.
Keep BBY DON'T HURT ME as is and expand the lore in a future games which will come in next year. BBY will still receive updates but won't be lore focused and will be more focused on adding mechanics.
It won't be a traditional VN and will aim to capture the "anti dating" feel. We feel that we've missed the mark for the anti dating and we're now aiming to ensure that the upcoming lore overhaul will truly leave you feeling uhhhh.. anti dated? Anyway thanks for playing the early access! We plan on releasing these stories in snippets to Patreon first and slowly introduce them to the beta branch.
