Repeated intro
Hey! There hasn't been many updates to BattleBlade recently and I'd thought I'd explain whats been going on with me and the game. My life has changed a lot during these past few months, including moving where I live and going to university. As a result, I've not had much time to update the game. I am working on some changes to the game mostly relating to balance some of which are already in the game in small little updates that haven't really justified a blog post. More updates will also be coming in the future! I've also been working on a few other games one of which is a small puzzle game which should be released by the end of next week or this week. You should be able to hear more about it on my website by then ;) The main changes I've made recently since the last blog post include:
What changed
- Balance
- UI and audio
- Gameplay
BattleBlade changes
Sound effect when the player's shadow attack is ready to be unleashed.
A slight delay on enemy attacks to make the game slightly easier and to make the enemy's swords look more like they are actually hitting the player
AI changes so the Demons *should* no longer sit on the player's head when the player doesn't move and the Demon jumps.
Changes to difficulty by increasing the number of shadow attacks for most Demons.
