New Police System

A new Police System has been added to Battle for Embolia.

Players can register as police officers in the city of Embolia and remain on duty until the system detects a potential criminal. When this happens, the case will be assigned to one of the available officers.

The officer will receive a window allowing them to teleport to the map where the criminal is located. During the mission, the officer will deal minimum PvP damage equal to 10% of the target’s maximum health.

After defeating the criminal:

  • The officer will receive a gold reward.

  • The officer can decide whether to send the criminal to jail.

  • The criminal will be disconnected from the server.

When the jailed player logs back into the game, they will be presented with a prison screen. To regain access to their character, they must visit a website, complete a CAPTCHA, and enter the generated code inside the game.

This system may be triggered organically against both bots and regular players. It does not result in a permanent ban or permanent punishment. It is simply a new mechanic integrated into the game world.

Fixes and Improvements

  • Improved PvP position accuracy to reduce melee attacks incorrectly missing their targets.

  • Fixed an issue where the Dark Mage’s actions were not visible to other players.

  • Fixed an issue with parties. Players who reconnect will now be correctly added back to their previous party.

  • Fixed a clan issue where players could still be considered members after leaving the clan.

  • Temporarily removed the option to purchase Premium with gold until the economy’s inflation issues are resolved.

  • Fixed an issue in the Temple of Adorni where some monsters appeared already dead.

  • Fixed an issue where using one ability immediately after another could cause the second action not to be executed.
