Our October patch was focused on a large number of functional and stability-related bug fixes, including issues reported by the community. Outside of adding PC support for the Season Pass DLC & Photo Mode features, the following noteworthy PC bugs were addressed:

  • Fixed high GPU usage / memory leak when the title is minimized

  • Fixed hitch that occurs during some autosaves

  • Fixed hitch that occurs when unlocking an achievement

  • Fixed an issue with rain effects not working properly after re-loading a save. This fix was also made on PS4 & Xbox, as rain was always intended to diminish after the cinematics and players gained control of Batman.

  • Fixed broken ground takedowns after dropping on a thug from a ledge when using a Keyboard + Mouse

  • Fixed miscellaneous hangs or crashes causes by Alt-Tabbing in specific scenarios

  • Fixed rendering bug where the screen could have a bright white flash while grappling or dive bombing

  • Fixed an issue where Intel HD graphics were chosen by default instead of the dedicated Nvidia or AMD GPU

  • Fixed game being stuck as a background application process after exiting

  • Fixed bloom issue on screen when vertical resolutions were set to 1050

  • Fixed various Keyboard + Mouse prompts that broke in unique game play sequences after re-binding

  • Fixed rain animation effects when running at frame rates higher than 30

  • Fixed Keyboard + Mouse controls for Special Gadget Combos

  • Fixed an issue where Batman’s cape would get pinned and stretch after a long glide

  • Removed expensive forward lit assets from some rooms to improve performance

  • Fixed a UI issue causing corrupted Story Synopsis screens

  • Changed the number of backbuffers that we allocate in the swap chain from 2 to 1 to save on VRAM

  • Fixed a crash in windowed mode that would occur if the window was closed during video forensics sequences

  • Fixed an issue where some keys could not be bound with an Alt modifier

  • Fixed a bug where Batman’s glide would glitch causing him to flip upside down due to negative numbers in glide speed calculations – shout out to uns3en and ID_Daemon

  • Fixed corrupted smoke pellet aiming line when FPS is 60 or above

  • Fixed a render thread crash on the R9 280 when gliding in a specific location

  • Fixed a MipMap crash during some cutscenes due to level streaming in the background

  • Fixed an issue where input was lost after double-tapping Tab on the map screen

  • Fixed for some textures disappearing when Motion Blur was disabled

  • Fixed completion percentage for the “Own the Roads” side story

  • Fixed downclocking issue on Maxwell-based Nvidia GPU’s

  • Fixed a crash by confirming a watch request on Steam Broadcast

  • Fixed a performance issue caused by toggling the Shadow Quality setting during game play

  • Fixed a stuttering issue that occurred when using Quickfire Gadgets

  • Fixed a falling OOW issue when reloading a save at one of the Militia Watchtowers

  • Fixed the Batmobile Battle Mode reticle appearing and being stuck on screen after receiving a mission
