Bastionfall Demo - Update 1.1 Patch Notes
This update focuses on quality-of-life improvements, combat feel enhancements, and critical bug fixes based on initial player feedback.
New Features:
A Journal with quest and lore information has been added to the Pause Menu.
The Options Menu is now fully accessible from the Pause Menu.
Added two new Red Knight guardians to the world.
Improvements & Balancing:
- CombatAdded Hit Stop, Camera Shake, and surface-based Impact VFX to make combat feel more impactful.
- VisualsAdjusted world lighting and post-processing for a more atmospheric.
AI: Red Knight followers now prioritize following the player more reliably.
- ControlsDecreased the charge time for heavy attacks. Lowered player jump height.
- AudioAdded more sound effects to movement animations.
- UIUpdated the loading screen font and colour for better readability.
Bug Fixes:
- MultiplayerFixed a critical issue where enemy health bars would not become visible for clients after taking damage.
- ControlsAdded a Mouse Sensitivity slider to the Options Menu and lowered the default sensitivity.
- GraphicsMotion Blur has been disabled by default to improve combat clarity.
