Ahoy, Bean Blasters! Steam post imageFriends near and far, on land or sea—listen up! Before braving the chaos of Bang Bang Barrage, here’s your Captain’s Handbook —everything you need to know before launch! 🥁⚓ Q: Where can I play Bang Bang Barrage? A: Bang Bang Barrage is currently available on Steam, and supports both Windows and Mac systems.

Q: What’s in the full version, and how is it different from the demo? A: The full game unlocks all content previously marked as “Coming Soon” in the demo, including:

  • ✅ 20 playable characters

  • ✅ 5 weapon types

  • ✅ 10 full levels

  • ✅ Cosmetic collectibles & sticker challenges

⏱️ First-time clear time: Around 10 hours depending on your skill and whether you're playing solo or with a squad.

But don’t worry—it doesn’t end there! Bang Bang Barrage is a roguelike, meaning every run is different. Characters, weapons, and enemy waves combine in endlessly wild ways. Each combo unlocks new strategies, and collectible skins/sticker challenges add tons of replay value.

Q: Can I play with friends? How many players does it support? A:Absolutely! Bang Bang Barrage supports 1–4 players, both:

  • Local co-op (same device)

  • Online multiplayer

In the main menu, choose [Local Co-Op] or [Online Mode]. Steam post image If you want to play with non-Steam friends, you need to check [Use Room Code] and send the code to the other party. Q: How many copies are needed for multiplayer play? A: Local multiplayer: Only 1 copy is needed for up to 4 players (⚠️ Note: Only one player can use a mouse. The rest will need controllers!)

  • Online multiplayer: Each player needs their own copy

  • You can also combine both: e.g., 2 players on one PC + 2 friends online!

Q: Can we still play together if our save progress doesn’t match? A: Yes! You can always join each other online. The levels you can choose depend on the host’s progress.

📌 Example: If Player A is on Level 1-4 and Player B is only on Level 1-1, Player A can host and both can jump into Level 1-4 together. Once completed, both will unlock Level 1-5!

We still recommend starting from the beginning for the smoothest experience—but it’s totally up to you.

Q: Do coins from the demo carry over? A: Unfortunately, the coins in the Demo cannot be carried over to the full version. Unfortunately, demo coins won’t carry over. But! In the full version:

  • Characters and weapons are unlocked via gameplay (not coins)

  • Coins are used for skins and cosmetic items

  • Tons of coins can be earned through the sticker challenge system—so don’t worry about running out!

Q: What about the skins from the demo? A : All demo bonus skins WILL carry over! This includes:

  • Christmas Hat Beanie 🎅

  • Heart Beanie 💖

  • Pumpkin Boat 🎃

  • Snake Boat 🐍

And don’t worry—there are plenty of new skins to unlock in the full game, too!

Q: Is there an easier mode for casual players or kids? Steam post image A: Yes! If you’re new to shooters, or playing with kids, try Assist Mode in the settings. It makes the game more forgiving while keeping the fun.

We encourage players to turn it off once they feel comfortable for the full roguelike experience!

Q: Can I fight Cthulhu like in the opening animation? Oh yes. You’ll face off against the tentacled terror himself in:

  • Stage 1-5: R’lyeh

  • Stage 2-5: Dreamworld R’lyeh Good luck. You’ll need it.

Q: Can I play solo? A : Definitely. The game is fully solo-playable with access to all:

  • Characters

  • Weapons

  • Levels

  • Steam achievements

But with friends? Things get way more chaotic and fun. We support only invite-based online play (no random matchmaking) to ensure the best co-op experience.

Join the chaos and help spread the word!
