Version 0.4.0

Hello everyone, Like I said in the last bug patch, I’ve taken a detour from the roadmap to add some much needed story and gameplay elements. This update includes “dungeon traps” and meals with your companions.

Repeated intro

Hello everyone,

addedLike I said in the last bug patch, I’ve taken a detour from the roadmap to add some much needed story and gameplay elements. This update includes “dungeon traps” and meals with your companions. Additionally, the item shop now sells rations and food on EASY mode.
changedThe traps in this game are going to be very unorthodox, at least compared to other RPGs. They will be randomly triggered as the player progresses through the Wilds, and can be avoided entirely. But there is a significant incentive for the player to interact with them. Beyond that, I’ll leave it up to you to see what they are.
changedThey currently do not affect gameplay, although in the future they will unlock further sex scenes and perhaps other things. I will have to see.
addedWe’re at about 90% complete! There’s a few more things left, but it’s mostly endgame and New Game+ at this point.
changedI had planned for a short game with a very rapid development schedule, but even so I have to admit that this little parody game has proven to be a challenge. The lessons I’ve learned here will definitely impact my future games, and have already, in many ways.

Meals are a significant story element and it will be the primary way for you to learn more about characters in the game. SINGER’s meals are especially… noteworthy.

I’m looking forward to 1.0 and the post launch, the latter of which will include backer and stretch goal content! Look for a revised roadmap soonish.

Thanks,
