Good day, everyone!

After the eventful release weekend, I wanted to take a moment to personally reach out and thank you for the kind words. It's wonderful to see how well Backyard Beans has been received, and after all this time, it's a lot of fun to watch others try out the game.

I read every single comment, take notes, and gradually work through the feedback. So feel free to share your ideas—I'm excited to hear them! Everything takes a bit of time, but I get the feeling that’s not an issue for you. 🙂

Now, let’s get started with the first changes. Two bugs have stood out the most:

  • The AI in the space level ignored coins.

  • Changing the resolution wasn’t always reliable.

The first issue was due to an incorrect number in the AI's coordinate system, so it was pretty quick to fix. The AI now collects coins in the space level!

For the resolution issue, I’ve created a small (temporary) menu where you can manually enter your desired resolution using your mouse and keyboard. It’s hidden in the settings menu. You need to click on the gear icon in the bottom right and then enter the resolution you want, without relying on preset resolutions.

That's it for now! Keep posting in the Steam Community Hub or forum with anything else you notice, and let your friends know there’s an update!

See you around, Kev
