What changed

0 fixes4 additions2 changes1 removal
  • Gameplay
  • Maps
  • Balance
addedThe All Saints ending includes the new Doktor boss fight in the new explorable Panopticon area, the newly explorable Lighthouse area, the involved All Saints/Syncretism puzzle, the all new Erewhon endgame area, and a final boss I won't spoil.
removedCharacter action poses for firing weapons and using items have been reenabled, making combat more visually dynamic as it was always intended to be (the absence of character poses in the Beta build was an oversight, temporarily disabled to avoid a persistent bug I finally found a workaround for). This upgrade also includes attack and casting animations for enemies (which by design makes the Spectral Nightgaunt enemies outside the cabin at Lighthouse Point less impossible to see/fight).
addedFlashlight can now be toggled on/off with the 'F' key, and no longer needs to be used from the item menu to activate/deactivate.
addedBrand new Voidborn Mooncalf enemy added and implemented (babby got syringes for eyes!).
changedScare screens and sanity effects, map feature implementation, and the writing in the existing endings have all been slightly tweaked.
changedTweaks to enemy balance, in particular the Stalker enemy is now less ball-busting, and the individual fireballs of its three-projectile fireball attack each deal a lot less damage.
