New Stuff

Gameplay Tab In Options Menu We added a new tab that is first to open by default in the options screen now, for now it only contains these two settings but we plan to add much more important settings in the future

  • —Fisheye effect switchBy default, game has a fish lens filter to give off a bodycam style screen distortion. We added a feature to disable it for players for whom it may cause motion sickness or discomfort to.
  • —Always Show Tips: It will always show gameplay tips through the game if it’s turned on; by default, it's off, and all tutorials only play once.

Tweaks to AI and Entities The entity known as the “ The Bright Man” or glowing skeleton now has his HP nerfed down so he can be brute forced with melee weapons. The area of his radiation particles is now lower and won’t give you a status effect unless you are close.

Glowing Red entity has been removed from the poolrooms and no longer appears in the game.

Fixes

  • Digital Watch being in the wrong slot at the start of the game

  • Camera having unpredictable cuts and movements in the character selection level when motion starts

  • Added a note on how to craft pouches to the crafting table

  • Fixed Autosave issues at the start of the game along with “Darkening” cinematic bug at the hole that leads to poolrooms at the end of Outdoors overgrown forest level.

  • M24 Sights being offset fixed

  • Machete wrong SFX when it breaks

  • Oxygen Tank broken spawn and size

  • Hopefully the final fix to the save wipe bug; now the game loads saves only after it confirms that the old save is made fully.

  • Hook Man Entity is now spawned much later but will probably be nerfed in the future

  • Glowing skeleton wrong particle on getting hit with AR7

  • Tip for sliding in Entity 6's area

  • Added an icon when items break not only red color

  • Machete now can’t be equipped when broken

  • Broken animation at Spiral is now fixed

  • Item Dropping System 2.0 now makes it impossible for items to de-spawn when dropped

  • And much more stuff that is not worth mentioning ːsteamhappyː

What's Next?

The plans are to focus a bit on marketing, with the game being a bit more tested now than it was before. With the new menu and new Steam page, game is much fresher now, and we can focus on garnering up more players so we know what to improve as we develop the game further.

Plans for v0.3.0 are to at least add one or two playable levels as well as fix some of the jankiness in the game's base systems, such as small obstacles causing the camera to bob violently, and adding a gore system to the game to make it more responsive along with combat soundtracks for entities.

Planned for beyond v0.3.0 is to include options beyond TSR (Anti-Aliasing method we currently use) to include DLSS and FSR, along with older methods and higher resolution support, since right now the highest the game can be played on is 1080p.
