Ava Hunt and Thieves of the Lost changes
We’ve just rolled out a new update, based on your feedback, focused on improving performance and the overall gameplay experience, with one goal, to increase players' enjoyment and engagement with the game.
Performance & Visual Improvements
Production Lighting Enabled
The game now features finalized lighting for a more immersive and atmospheric experience.
Optimized Memory Usage
Texture preloading has been disabled, allowing textures to load dynamically. This results in better RAM/VRAM usage and smoother performance, especially on lower-end systems, so it will work more smoothly across the systems, as strong optimisation models have been applied over the past two years in developing game.
Gameplay & Balance Changes
We heard your feedback loud and clear — combat needed to feel more satisfying and less restrictive.
Ammo Balance Improved
Ammo was too scarce, limiting gameplay flow. Drop rates and availability have been adjusted to reduce frustration and keep the action going.
Weapon Power & Accuracy Buffed
Guns now feel more impactful:
○ Increased overall damage
○ Improved headshot effectiveness
○ Reduced weapon spread for better accuracy
Melee Reworked
Melee combat has been improved to make it a viable option, with increased effectiveness and better integration into combat situations.
Crosshair Behavior Fixed
Addressed an issue where the crosshair would shift away from the center unexpectedly, improving aiming consistency and player control.
Additional Improvements
General gameplay polish and tuning across multiple systems
Improved combat feedback and responsiveness
Minor fixes and optimizations based on player feedback
This update is part of our ongoing effort to refine Ava Hunt and build the best possible experience step by step. More updates and content are coming soon — and as always, your feedback is shaping the game.
Thanks to all demo players for your incredible support and feedback. We are together shaping a strong survival experience we hope you'll keep coming back to.
