Repeated intro
Hey there! I'm Reece, the lead (and sole) developer at Calamity Maid. I've got a couple'a things to share with you today, so make yourselves comfortable, pour a glass, etc. Firstly, key art! (This is by far the more exciting of the two things I'm sharing today.) I am thrilled to reveal to you this magnificent portrait (read: masterpiece) of Tera Venger, which has been illustrated for Calamity Maid by the Rotting To Live artist GleamyGuts! Behold, in all its vivid splendor! Steam post image

changed(Full disclosure: due to file size limitations, this is a compressed version of the completed artwork. To see the image in full, you'll want to check out my Bluesky post, here .) I all but fainted at the sight of this piece, by the way. I could hardly believe that any one work of art could be so magnificent. I still can't. Many thanks again to GleamyGuts for this vividly inspired contribution to the Autumn Rail canon. You know, as of May 15th, 2026, it's been seven months to the date since Calamity Maid released Autumn Rail via Steam. As of today, it's been seven months and several days. (Time flies, huh?) As some of you might've already twigged, 7 is one of the more important numbers in the world of Autumn Rail. But even more generally speaking, the number seven has featured significantly in myths, legends, histories, and fairytales—plus, it's said to be the maximum number of items the average human can remember at any given time. How about that? To everyone who has played the game, or wishlisted it—to everyone who has shared their thoughts in the form of reviews, or talked about the game with friends, or thought about the game for hours after the credits rolled: thank you. Thank you all. This seven month anniversary feels all the more special 'cause of you.

Who knows, maybe in seven years' time I'll have even more of you to thank! Wouldn't that be something.
