Hey Pathologists! 👋 Today we've released a free simulation-focused content update, which brings the arrival of Autopsy Only Mode to Autopsy Simulator. Ready to test your skills in the Autopsy Room?

Autopsy Only Mode - Key Features

🧑‍⚕️ Simulation gameplay focus: Step into the shoes of a student pathologist and conduct autopsies correctly by following the accurate flow and procedures in the Autopsy Room to get the best final rating and score!

🔁 Follow the correct autopsy flow: Ensure all areas of the internal and external examinations are conducted and performed well. If some procedures during the autopsy are skipped, players will be docked points from their final score.

🤔 Final cause of death judgement: In Autopsy Only Mode, there are seven generic causes of death across all cadavers and three unique causes of death, one per cadaver in Autopsy Only Mode.

When you begin your game of AOM, there are eight possible causes of death for each body. Select the correct cause of death for the cadaver to gain points and a better final rank in Autopsy Only Mode!

We've also added fourteen decoy causes of death, to add more randomness to the game mode and increase replayability! Decoy causes of death create misdirection, whilst developing the narrative of the events unfolding as you progress through the autopsy.

💯 Get scored on your autopsy performance: In Autopsy Only Mode, you'll be scored on several criteria, including Minigame Score, Planning & Preparations, Unnecessary Examinations, Final Cause of Death, and Clean Up.

All choices during the new game mode will affect your final score, so make sure you're making decisive decisions in the Autopsy Room to ensure the best Autopsy Only Mode score. Make sure to photograph every integral area of the cadaver, only dissect organs crucial to the case files, and of course... remember to put your medical gloves on! 🧤

Alongside this, ensure you are cutting organs correctly and not failing any minigames, as this will cause you to lose score.

Dead Memories Improvements

Our free update for Autopsy Simulator also contains improvements and tweaks to our Dead Memories story mode! The changes in this patch have come from your Dead Memories launch feedback and include improvements to the scare trigger points to make scares easier to experience, improved flow throughout Dead Memories by holding players during conversations with NPCs that include important plot points, tweaks to the secret ending to make this easier to trigger, and more!
