Next Fest
As foreshadowed in the roadmap, the next demo drop is here as a part of Steam Next Fest! This latest demo is current available ONLY on Steam, for the duration of the festival.
https://store.steampowered.com/sale/nextfest]Steam Next Fest is a online festival for upcoming game demos. This is the biggest event we've been a part of so far, and is a major milestone in the development of any indie game.
What's new?
The Electricity mechanic, and 5 new cells to go with it. There is also a new Tag Sprayer cell and more.
MAJOR quality of life improvement. Including a total rewrite of almost all the cell descriptions.
12 rounds! And a slower difficulty curve, so you have more time to cook up interesting builds.
Numerous small balance changes and bugfixes all over the place.
Large amount of new graphics, including new colors for nearly everything, new cell art, new blood cell art, and new UI.
New professional sound effects.
This demo is more user friendly than previous ones, so now is a good time to show the game to your friends, your favorite streamers and youtubers, etc.
What's Next?
Our plan from here is to build out the multiplayer in one more (smaller scale) demo, then from there its on the release. Almost there.
