addedThanks to everyone who played the playtest. You helped me a lot by adjusting the difficulty of the game, making sure the controls felt right, and by providing tons of feedback and bug reports. Seriously, it made a big difference. This demo includes A LOT of bug fixes and improvements compared to the playtest. It also includes new features:
changedYou can upgrade your Climb Energy by finding specific items on the world!
addedNew mechanic: you can carry lost items and deliver them to someone (or something) for a reward. There’s a catch, though: die too many times and the item breaks.
addedNew mechanic: Time Trials! These are special areas isolated in the world where you need to complete challenges before time runs out. It’s all about climbing, time, and velocity; and of course, you get a gift at the end.
addedNew mechanic: Item Sensor! The world is now filled with items: some obvious, some carefully hidden. To help you discover them, I added an Item Sensor emits a pulse whenever something valuable is nearby.
changedHats and skins are available!

The Demo is finally live!

Thanks to everyone who played the playtest. You helped me a lot by adjusting the difficulty of the game, making sure the controls felt right, and by providing tons of feedback and bug reports. Seriously, it made a big difference. This demo includes A LOT of bug fixes and improvements compared to the playtest. It also includes new features:

  • You can upgrade your Climb Energy by finding specific items on the world!

  • New mechanic

you can carry lost items and deliver them to someone (or something) for a reward.

    There’s a catch, though

die too many times and the item breaks.

  • New mechanic: Time Trials! These are special areas isolated in the world where you need to complete challenges before time runs out. It’s all about climbing, time, and velocity; and of course, you get a gift at the end.

  • New mechanicItem Sensor! The world is now filled with items: some obvious, some carefully hidden. To help you discover them, I added an Item Sensor emits a pulse whenever something valuable is nearby.
  • NPCs are here! Parts of the lore are also included to make the world richer.

  • Hats and skins are available!

  • A lot of small QoL changes were implemented to make the game less confusing, more fair, and more fun.

  • I won’t post all the bug fixes here because… Jesus Christ. So much stuff was fixed and improved.

This demo will continue to be improved based on your feedback, but for now I’ll also be focusing on creating the rest of the game!

That’s it! Thanks everyone, and have fun!
