Hi everyone,

thank you for taking an interest in Aurora Directive.

Now that the Steam page is live, I want to use these updates to give a short look at what is currently being worked on and what still needs to happen before the game launches into Early Access.

Aurora Directive already has many of its core systems in place, so the main goal now is to make sure Act I feels complete and representative of the final game direction.

At the moment, I am moving the last three missions of Act I from the concept phase into the engine. This includes dialogue, unique mission scripting, environments, combat encounters, and scenario-specific objectives.

One of these missions will take the squad to an Arvadine extraction facility. The environment needs a bunch of new assets, including industrial gates, additional pipes, tanks, and decals, so the location feels like a harsh extraction site far out in the Wastelands.

Part of the Arvadine extraction facility kit currently being built for the upcoming Act I missions.

I also found several controller support issues that I want to fix before Early Access, so controller input and UI navigation feel more reliable.

Thanks again for checking out the game and following development.

Take care,

Jerry
