Community Update

The year is drawing to an end. This is the time to give you an update on the game's development. To be honest, we didn't achieve our goal of implementing a new game engine for Aunewyth. The plan was to move from GameMaker to Unity. Yet we didn't get satisfying results so far. That's the bad news.

But now for the good news. I have been working on the upcoming content for the game. The plan is to implement new content into the game in the not too distant future. Here is a list of what to expect.

• Episode 1 - A Toad in the Swamp (already playable - continues the storyline after offending Adana)

• Episode 2 - The Mylia Flower (almost complete - continues the storyline after just visiting Adana)

• Episode 3 - Guards of the Vale (in the making - continues the storyline after meeting with Ackley)

• Episode 4 - The Forlorn Grove (in the making - continues the storyline after talking to the elder)

• Main Game - a new version of the game (in the making - contains all episodes plus the base game)

We are working on a fully illustrated version of Episode 1 and have completed over 80 illustrations so far. However, creating a fully illustrated game seems out of reach under the given circumstances. We have therefore decided to create partially illustrated versions of the other episodes and the base game for now.
