Repeated intro
Hey everyone! We’re releasing v0.2.0, which comes with two new core soundtrack songs as well as some exciting environment and blaster upgrades and support on the Oculus Rift S and Windows MR headsets! Additionally, if you create your own custom gun and avatars models you can now add them into the game! As always, share your thoughts and feedback in our official Discord or on our social channels. AUDICA: Rhythm Shooter changes
New Songs
“Break For Me” by James Landino ft. Noelle LeBlanc
“Resistance” by Knife Party
Environments and Blasters Upgrades – They are more vibrant, dynamic, and reactive to your gameplay! The environment is much more lively for those watching your spectator camera view.
Added recoil and sustain animations to blasters.
Streak Changes – The penalty for missing a target is no longer as drastic. Multipliers will now decrease by 1 for each miss, instead of a full reset. This allows you to spend more time with a multiplier and getting more points!
Custom Model Support – You can now load models of guns and avatars you own into the game. You can change your left and right guns, or head and body models at any time in the settings option.
Audica now natively supports the Oculus Rift S and Windows Mixed Reality.
Gun yaw and roll angle can now also be adjusted, in addition to gun pitch angle.
Fixes and tweaks:
Reduced angular drag for gunslinging tricks, so now guns can spin for longer.
Adjusted audio filtering behavior so that the song only temporarily filters on a miss, rather than staying filtered until the next success.
Fixed issue where "Allow View Toggling" option was not actually working.
Fixed issue where community maps could fail to load in some scenarios.
Improved button mapping for Knuckles (Valve Index) controllers.
That's all for now! If you're curious about what's coming down the pipeline, you can always take a look at our roadmap on Trello: https://trello.com/b/VLEw3nkw/audica-development-roadmap
