changedLegal terminology scattered throughout the game (in conversations, case files, and court hearings) will now feature a subtle dotted underline indicating they can be inspected. Hovering over or tapping these terms will instantly bring up a contextual Glossary Tooltip, providing a plain-English definition so you never lose the thread of the case! We’ve added a quick, seamless tutorial the first time you encounter one so you know exactly how it works. Quality of Life: PC Workflow Hubs Managing a crushing caseload just got a lot smoother. We've overhauled your primary workspaces based on player feedback:
changedPower users rejoice—we’ve added Keyboard Shortcuts! Press Enter or Space to instantly snap open and expand any task details. Press C while a task is selected to complete it instantly. Hit Escape to back out of an expanded task. The layout has been totally redesigned for modern screens. Tasks will now intelligently sit side-by-side on wide monitors to give you a better birds-eye view of your to-do list, and stretch out when you click into them for details. Evidence Catalog Sorting:
addedStop hunting for that one specific file! We’ve added a new dropdown menu to the Evidence Catalog so you can instantly sort your discovery items. You can now sort by: Received Date (Newest or Oldest) Quality (Flagged/Important items jump to the top) Alphabetical (A to Z) Investigation Budget Visuals:
removedThe Investigation Panel no longer uses a simple block of text to tell you how many points you have left. We’ve replaced it with a sleek, color-shifting Remaining Points Meter so you can intuitively see exactly how much leverage you have left to pull before the day ends! (Plus under-the-hood engine stability improvements to make sure your simulations continue to run flawlessly!)
