Attack of the Astrals changes
The next update to the Attack of the Astrals playtest is available now! We are getting close to feature-complete for the demo, so the next update will focus on expanding content. We look forward to reading your feedback on these latest changes!

Release Notes
Gameplay
Scroll reward options: Instead of receiving a random Scroll, you now select between two options. Giving the player more control over Scroll rewards will allow us to design more situational Scrolls.
Discard an existing Scroll: If all Scroll slots are full, you can discard an existing Scroll to make room for it. Preventing players from receiving rewards was just mean, and this gives you an opportunity to pivot away from Scrolls you haven’t found useful.
- Reset your turn at any time before the next turnTurn reset is now available until Minions spawn for the next turn, so you can use it after your Champions move and while the Astrals are responding.
Summons:
Seraph has 3 new skills, one for each role. As part of these changes, Moment of Peace has been reworked.
Bug fixes:
The feedback form is now separate from the options menu, so its input no longer conflicts with options menu input.
Hovering a Champion in the team building screen no longer changes the displayed details.
Visuals and Sound
New warning indicator for the final action each turn: Our goal is it more clear when a Champion action will end the turn, reminding you to use a Scroll beforehand if needed.
New Champion sounds when damaged: All Champions now have a unique set of vocalizations when struck in combat.
UI polish: Summon and Scroll screen borders are now more detailed and polished.
- Battle visualsAstral landing sequence has been improved, with a deeper VFX and more emphasis on landing poses.
Future Updates
We are playtesting an additional region of the realm, which will be released in April as part of preparing content for the demo.
All summons will eventually have more options for each role, which we’ll fold in over time.
Alternate difficulty options will provide more ways to play and use your skills, spells and summons.
