Our first major update is scheduled for mid-July, bringing with it many of the features and improvements we have been developing over the past year.

One of the biggest changes is that Athos has been upgraded from Unreal Engine 5.2 to Unreal Engine 5.6. This upgrade not only keeps the game current with the latest technology but also brings performance and stability improvements.

The game's interface has been completely redesigned with improved visuals and a stronger medieval aesthetic to better match the world of Athos.

Another major addition is the new Quest System. Players will now have quests to follow, providing direction, progression, and opportunities to uncover more of the game's lore as they explore the world.

The highly anticipated Dinosaur Armor System will also make its debut. Players will be able to equip their dinosaurs with different armor sets, allowing them to customize stats and tailor their companions to suit their preferred playstyle.

We've also significantly improved the dinosaur movement system. Dinosaurs will now navigate around obstacles more effectively and should become stuck far less frequently than before.

Finally, one of the biggest additions arriving in July is the introduction of official dedicated servers. Players will be able to join friends, build communities, and experience all of the new content together on persistent servers.

As shown on our roadmap, we are planning for the full release of Athos in August. This launch will introduce an entirely new map to explore, along with additional content and improvements. We will be sharing more details about this exciting new world in the coming weeks.

We are incredibly excited to finally share this information with you and want to thank everyone for their patience and continued support. We look forward to seeing you in Athos!
