ATC Ground Point changes
This update to the public beta includes a reworked system for flight labels (also known as flight progress strips). It includes an editor for labels and bay layout which can be accessed in the main menu via the Radar tab in the Settings window. There many options which allows for a lot of customization but can also be a bit confusing so feel free to ask questions. I would recommend using one of the default options as a base to begin with.
One of the new default styles is more detailed and therefore takes up more space. If you have more than one monitor available the recommendation is to run the game in windowed mode and stretch the game window to use multiple screens. The main menu now has a button in the top right corner to change where it is anchored so it can be displayed on one of the monitors in a multi monitor setup.
The settings window has been changed slightly with the biggest change being that the help text appears if hovering over the input field or button instead of a separate question mark.
A width parameter has been added to taxiways and runways as well as support for holding points on runways. The TEST airport has been updated to show these new features as well as a runway with backtrack. More information about this can be found in the guide (new pages "How to change width of taxiways and runways" and "How to make holding points on runways").
Also in the builder a change has been made so when overwriting a file the builder now tries to merge with existing file even if the existing file is not loaded. This is mainly a backup in case someone forgets to load the file before setting up airport information and flights which before resulted in lost layout data. Nonetheless, the safest option is still to load the file manually before starting to input data.
Thanks for playing!
