What’s included in the new update

  • Horde survival mode

  • 5 weapons

  • Endless waves of enemies

  • Increasing difficulty over time

  • A simple score based survival loop

  • Quick, replayable action separate from the main demo

  • Main Game

  • Minor bug fixes

Why add this to the demo?

I wanted to give players a fun bonus mode to experiment with something fast, replayable, and different from the atmospheric story slice. It’s a small extra for those who want more after finishing the main demo or just want more action.

What the full game focuses on

The core of Asylum 1966 remains a story driven psychological horror experience with exploration, atmosphere, and narrative tension at its heart. Horde Mode is an additional gameplay option not the main direction of the game.
