Another successful round of playtesting, and another batch of improvements and fixes to implement!

TWEAKS

  • XP Requirement stops increasing once level 10 has been reached, and the level thresholds have been reduced by ~20%

  • Mage Time Slow buffed to 70% (from 40%)

  • Dashers now only redirect to you when getting hit by a bullet once every 2 seconds, instead of each time it has been hit by a bullet

  • Enemy Hitboxes no longer include the red blur added. Sorry!

  • Stats in menus now round correctly (except for tag stats, because I'm dumb)

  • Vampire Harvest now can stack only once per enemy

  • Enemy Swarm tooltip and upgrade text has been changed to be more understandable

  • The super in-depth stat bar in the upgrade and weapon menus now require you to hover your mouse over a tag that reveals them

  • Upgrade and Weapon interfaces now have a more descriptive tooltip of the interface, and this is FURTHER descriptive in the tutorial mission

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Vampire Harvest weapon visuals improved for better understanding

  • The Upgrade and Weapon interfaces have been significantly improved visually, reducing clutter and improving readability

  • Tracked weapon damage stats are now displayed in the upgrade interface, which should give players some direction in what weapons are performing well

  • Chemist shard explosion has been reworked - now shards do NOT auto detonate unless the embedded enemy has been killed, or the player uses the Shatter power to detonate them. THIS IS GOOD - This means you can stack 500 shards onto a World Guardian and one shot them, it's very satisfying, try it

FIXES

  • Vampire can no longer get HP Regen as an upgrade in game. This has been a long standing problem and I'm silly

  • Harvest now deletes itself properly when failing to detonate on an enemy that has died mid-animation

  • Regen no longer restores health during Boss Roleplay, End of Planet Transition, or other downtime events.
