Hey everyone! I'm incredibly excited to announce that Astrocraft has reached its first major milestone! As a solo developer, this space station simulator represents months of passion and hard work, and it's finally ready for its very first playtest. I need YOUR feedback to make it stellar!

Astrocraft changes
What is Astrocraft?
Astrocraft combines the best elements of Gas Station Simulator, Supermarket Simulator, and Satisfactory in a sci-fi setting. Start on an empty asteroid and build your dream space station - mine resources, craft valuable goods, serve diverse space travelers, and gradually automate your operations with hired workers. It's retail simulation meets factory automation in the depths of space!
What's in This Early Build?
This playtest includes the core foundation of Astrocraft:
Basic mining and resource gathering with your trusty mining laser
Simple shop mechanics - build infrastructure and sell goods to visiting space travelers
Early production chains - refine raw materials into more valuable products
Basic building placement and station layout
Initial customer AI with different types of space travelers
What's NOT included yet: Workers, advanced automation, combat/defense systems, farming, and many planned features from our roadmap.

Core gameplay loop - Is the mine → produce → sell cycle engaging?
UI/UX and controls - How intuitive does everything feel?
Balance and pacing - Does progression feel rewarding?
Performance and bugs - Help us squash any issues you encounter
Fun factor - Most importantly, are you having a good time?
How to Join the Playtest
Click the "Request Access" button on our Steam page and we'll send you an invite as soon as possible. The current build offers about 15 - 30 minutes of content as you experiment with the basic systems.
What's Next?
Based on your feedback, I'll be implementing features from my roadmap over the next 6 months, including worker automation, custom tile-based buildings, voxel-based digging, farming systems, and exciting events like pirate raids. Your input will directly influence which features I prioritize!
I'm aiming for full release in 6 to 9 months, and this playtest is the first step in that journey. Every bug report, suggestion, and piece of feedback helps me build the space station sim of your dreams.
