Astral Bloom changes
v0.10 is released~
This major update adds the brand new upgrade tree, a new rebirth currency, as well as a level up system!
Bloom Meter + EXP System
When you build, make wishes, or hire wisps in the world, you gain EXP.
Leveling up grants you a new currency: Astral Blooms. (Ha ha)
Upgrade Tree
The Upgrade Tree has been added. Astral Blooms, the new rebirth currency, can be kept to boost your passive global production, or spent on upgrades in one of the following trees:
Character Upgrades
Wisp Upgrades
Building Upgrades
The old heritage system has been removed and old progress is converted to Astral Blooms. I hope that with the varying upgrades, it makes each run less repetitive.
Aside from production bonuses, I want to make each run less progress by eliminating things like having to unlock each building again. Maybe even QoL ideas like being able to see which grid the next building spawns.
I received feedback that wisps are a bit slow so the wisp speed upgrade was put quite early in the tree. If you have more feedback please let me know here or on Discord!
