changedThe Assimilate! (A Party Game) playtest is now live for playtesting. Only sign up for this play test if you're comfortable playing an early prototype as there is still a lot of tweaks, bugs, and gameplay changes left to make. We have taken the liberty of answering some FAQs below, for your reference.
changedHow do I sign up to play test ? Go to our store page and click the "Request Access" button to join our playtest waitlist. We will be letting playtesters in waves during the next two weeks and you will be notified by Steam if/when you are eligible to download and play the game. However, please note that we cannot guarantee everyone who signs up will get to play!
changedHow long will this playtest be available ? We will start this play test session up for two weeks to give everyone time to organize their friends and play through the game, but if things appear to be running smoothly and our bugs/fixes are minimal, we can likely accommodate more playtesters and extend the event further. If early play tests are a little wonky then we might need to end the open play tests sooner before we can admit more playtesters. So if you're interested in test playing the game, be sure to sign up as soon as possible because we can't guarantee everyone who signs up will get a chance to play.
changedWhen will the next chance to playtest ? We do not have an exact date yet for the next chance to playtest, though we are confident there will be other opportunities in the near future to do so. If you are eager and willing to play an early version of the game though, we certainly encourage you to sign up now. Just be sure to fill out the survey at the end of the game and let us know what you think!

Does it cost anything to test play?? Of course not! Play through the game, for free, and let us know what you think, The most valuable thing we could get from you now is your feedback - so be upfront and honest! :)

How many players does this test play version accommodate? As of now the game should function for anywhere between 5 & 10 players, but we're still tweaking the balancing of the game so we may adjust up/down the number of players as necessary.

Is this game nearly finished? Not really, no. Please only play if you and your friends are comfortable testing an early version of the game and are willing to leave us your honest feedback. We are extremely interested in learning what works, what doesn't work, and your suggestions to improve the game as a whole so let us know!

How can I leave you my feedback on the game? At the end of every game you will be prompted to leave feedback through a link to a simple Google Survey. None of the questions are required but all are appreciated so please feel free to leave as little, or as much, feedback as you're comfortable giving.

When will the next chance to playtest? We do not have an exact date yet for the next chance to playtest, though we are confident there will be other opportunities in the near future to do so. If you are eager and willing to play an early version of the game though, we certainly encourage you to sign up now. Just be sure to fill out the survey at the end of the game and let us know what you think!
