addedThe first major update for ASCII Attack adds some improvements to the Survival Mode. In Survival Mode, you must survive 30 waves of invincible enemies for 30 seconds each wave. You earn points by retrieving launch codes, shooting enemy bullets, and, well, just surviving. It is a hard core mode and if you die once, you need to restart from the first wave. The game now has a Restart menu selection if you die so you no longer need to return to the Main Menu to give Survival Mode another shot. The game also records your high score after each successful wave, so you no longer need to finish all 30 waves to record a high score. Of course, that is the true measure of surviving and the best way to rack up the highest score. So get out there and collect those launch codes for the most points and outlast the Dot Matrix ASCII Army!
