Repeated intro
Hello Ascenders, As we get closer to launch, we are happy to announce that another limited demo will be made available! Along side the new demo will be a community event to see just how far players can push their limits!

Ascend to ZERO changes
Limited-Time Demo Event Opening
The newly updated Ascend to ZERO demo will be available for a limited time during the period below.
Demo Period: June 8, 2026 12:00 AM – June 26, 2026 12:00 AM (PT)
After the event period, the demo will close as we make our final dash towards launch! Be sure to jump in and experience the revamped demo while it’s live! This version represents the most responsive and streamlined gameplay experience we’ve released so far.
Please note that while you will be able to use your save file from previous versions of the Ascend to ZERO Demo, we strongly recommend players to use one of the three save slots to start a fresh file and see what the new demo has to offer! Especially because the community event depends on this!
Please also note that demo save data will not carry over to the launch version of the game nor any other subsequent demo releases.
ZERO Rush Challenge
Along side the demo will be a community event for Ascend to ZERO! This community event will test the limits of players and see just how far players can push themselves!
Event Period
June 8, 2026 12:00 AM – June 26, 2026 12:00 AM (PT)
Objective
The goal of the challenge is simple: submit your highest level achieved to us and try to get the top-10 highest levels achieved!
Leaderboard Updates
To keep the competition going throughout the event, leaderboard snapshots will be shared during the event period.
Week 1 Snapshot: June 12, 2026 (PT)
Week 2 Snapshot: June 19, 2026 (PT)
Week 3 Snapshot: June 24, 2026 (PT)
These snapshots reflect the top 10 highest levels submitted at the time of collection and are provided for progress updates only. Final rankings will be determined after the event concludes based on the highest levels achieved throughout the entire event period.
Rewards
To reward players for their hard work and getting into the top 10, the following prizes are up for grabs!
1st Place: 1 Ascend to ZERO game key + 1 Steam Gift Card (equivalent to $100 USD)
2nd ~ 5th Place: 1 Ascend to ZERO game key + 1 Steam Gift Card (equivalent to $50 USD)
6th ~ 10th Place: 1 Ascend to ZERO game key
How to Participate
Start a new game during the event period! (only save files that have been created after the event has started will be able to participate)
Play the game as feverishly as possible, reaching the height of your abilities and getting the highest level possible.
Submit a screenshot of the save slot window in the opening menu with the save file creation date and the highest level attained to the following link: EVENT PARTICIPATION LINK
Input the details requested such as a valid email address and your Steam nickname
There is no limit on the number of submissions during the event period as only your highest level will be looked at!
Notes Regarding the Event
Participation is limited to individuals aged 14 and older.
During the event period, the rankings at the time may be shared on the official Discord server and/or X account.
Only one entry per person will be counted (based on their highest record submitted).
Winners will receive individual instructions via the email address provided. Additional personal information (such as a Steam ID or legal name) may be required for cash-equivalent prize fulfillment.
Ascend to ZERO game keys awarded as prizes can be redeemed after July 13.
Steam Gift Cards will be issued in the winner’s local currency based on their Steam regional settings, at a value equivalent to $100 USD (1st place) or $50 USD (2nd–5th place). Minor differences in actual value may occur due to exchange rates and regional pricing.
Participants found engaging in fraudulent or unfair behavior will be disqualified.
Event details and prize distribution schedules may be changed due to internal circumstances.
Only save slot data created during the June 2026 Demo period is eligible for participation.
Submission of save slots created before the event period will result in disqualification.
