Artifice: War Tactics changes
This will be our last major patch until our Full release in Q3 2024.
Please note that your current save files will be deleted as it will be incompatible with the new updates. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Artifice: War tactics Demo will now be available with the updated gameplay changes.
HIGHLIGHTS
Dynamic Reinforcements – Enemy reinforcements now vary as per the number of enemies alive on the battlefield.
No Mandatory Movement – It is no longer mandatory for champions to move during their turn.
Reworked ‘No enemy left alive’ victory condition – Instant victory will no longer be awarded upon killing all enemies on the battlefield.
Added new Champion: Behemoth
Trait – Overwhelming Crush: Slams the target dealing damage and pushing back all adjacent enemies
Ability 01 – Enroot: Enroots an enemy making them immobile and disabling their overwatch for a turn.
Ability 02 – Resilience: Grants the target +80 resistance and displacement immunity for 1 turn.
Added new Boss abilities:
Xo’ Azora – Cataclysm: Stomps the ground creating up to 5 fissures on the battlefield. At the end of the next player turn these fissures erupt dealing damage to any character standing over them.
Queen Mycella – Mind Control: Can Mind control any champion on the battlefield. Mind Control breaks if Queen dies or takes at least 5 damage during a turn. Duration – 1 Turn.
Added 3 new sub quests:
Deal a total of 12 damage
Complete battle without taking more than 6 damage in total
Use Biome hazards to attack enemies up to 3 times
Added Some New SFXs

Xo’ Azora Boss ability: Cataclysm

Ornatia: +15 Crit CH -10 Resistance
Cadmus Tooth: Reduces damage of Target by 1 +8 Crit CH
Shard crested Sceptre: Applies Frostbite -12 Crit CH
Kogarasu Scythe: +12 Execute CH -1 HP
Brísingamen Glove: +2HP Lifesteal +15 Resistance
Durendal: +12 Execute
Knuckles of Awe: +12 Crit CH +8 Dodge
Egil’ Wings: Applies Winded
Emberstone Shard: +35 Burn CH +25 Resistance
Mighty Labrys: +45 Crit CH
Hodr’s Axe: Applies Frostbite II – Reduces Armor by 4
Bahamut’s Wings: Applies Winded +25 Resistance
Introduced upgrades for Abilities:
Zephyr
Phase - Phase through enemy and allied units. Champion will not trigger overwatch while phasing through enemies or allies.
Level 2 – Reduces Cooldown by 1 turn
Level 3 – Reduces Cooldown by 1 turn
Tempest Blast - Releases a blast around the target causing all adjacent enemies to be pushed back. If there is an obstacle behind the enemy they will take knockback damage.
Level 2 – Reduces Cooldown by 1 turn
Level 3 – Blast deals 1 damage
Pyromancer
Cleansing Flames - Removes all de-buffs from the target and heals them for 2HP.
Level 2 – Reduces Cooldown by 1 turn
Level 3 – Reduces Cooldown by 1 turn
Napalm - Douses the target with Napalm. If the target takes any overwatch hit while under this effect they ignite and deal 2 damage to all nearby enemies including the target. This effect is removed after triggering once.
Level 2 – Reduces Cooldown by 1 turn
Level 3 – Increases Napalm damage to 4
Ranger
Spectre - Summon a dummy replicant that can move but not set
