Hey all! Sorry for being late to the party. Releasing Book 2 on Steam early wasn't planned and it sort of threw a wrench in my schedule.

addedBut back to Book 2. Once Chapter 8 is completed, the Steam achievements will be added in as well.
changedOn another note, I noticed when looking at bug reports. The trackbacks don't match my code. I've said it many times as someone who loves to use mods, I don't have an issue with it. But please keep in mind that using mods changes code and sometimes results in the errors that are posted in the discussions. Be mindful of that because I can't troubleshoot something I can't replicate on my end. I'll investigate it but if you use mods, I can't help much since I have no idea what code has changed. There's a thread in the discussions where I provide screenshots of my findings, for someone who had constantly posted about crashes and can't progress. Then I present the receipts that the code was modified and all that screaming from them was their doing in the end lol. So, keep that in mind when posting bug reports. Post the traceback and your save if you can). I'll investigate best I can, but if mods were involved, there's not much I can do.

For those waiting on the next chapter for Book 2 DLC, it's coming next Friday, June 12th. Following Chapter 7, Chapter 8 will close Book 2. I'm still gathering feedback whether Book 3 should be early access too. Based on feedback, some were upset with it being released in early access.

But back to Book 2. Once Chapter 8 is completed, the Steam achievements will be added in as well.

For those who got the Book 2 DLC, Chapter 7 update is coming next Friday, June 12th. After that, Chapter 8 will close out Book 2.

Especially if mods start messing with the persistent file. Artemis uses steam cloud saves, so even if you delete the mods, delete saves. Steam will just bring it back and fiddle with the game. There's ways to remedy this by disabling cloud saves, so keep these things in mind when modding the game.
