ArrowBall changes
Testing, testing, is this thing on?
First off, I want to thank all the people who have added ArrowBall to their wish-lists so far. It's really helped motivate me to see that there are actual other human beings that think it looks neat and I'm really excited to finally get it in your hands so you can play with your friends.
Steam Games Festival Demo October 7th - 13th
You'll be able to get your first taste of ArrowBall on October 7th with a limited time 2-player demo where you can play on 2 of the 6 stages with 4 of the super arrows that are in the final game. So be ready to grab a friend, boot up Steam Remote Play and enjoy some socially distanced Arrow Action!
ArrowBall Release Date
And you wont be waiting long after that to get the full-course because ArrowBall will be releasing on November 9th of this year! It's been quite a road getting here so I hope you all enjoy it!
What the heck have I been working on?
Polishing/Revamping the look of the stages
I'm more of a programmer by trade so this has been one of the trickier aspects of development but I think I've made some good progress towards making the stages more readable and visually appealing. A good example of this is the Arena stage Before: After: Look at those colors!
Proper Menus
Now the game has a proper pause menu where you can do exciting things like change the resolution, raise and lower volume, see the controls(with icons tailored to your current controller)!
Keyboard + Mouse Controls
Yes, you'll be able to play with your annoying friend Greg who insists that playing any game with a controller is "sub-optimal" (Seriously Greg, give it a rest)
And More Fun Things
Tons and tons of tweaks to things like game feel, audio, stage balance, etc.
