Arrival of Beasts changes
The Major Update for Arrival of Beasts has arrived!
This update introduces the brand new United Co-Op Mode, allowing players to defend a single Protectbase together. Team up with friends and play through 9 co-op maps designed for 2–4 players.
In addition, the new Rocket Tower joins the battlefield, bringing powerful explosive damage and new strategic possibilities.
Alongside these new features, this update includes many improvements, fixes and performance optimizations to make the gameplay experience smoother than ever.
The update launches right in time for the Steam Tower Defense Fest.

Fixed
Updated to Unity Version (600.3.5f2) to remove security issues • Increased space for text on many elements and resized text • "Z" hotkey is working again for buildings (now "Y" & "Z" work) • No longer hardstuck in online lobby/room anymore • Close combat monsters can no longer get stuck on the protectbase • Increased co-op network performance significantly • At Prestige Rank 6 you can again swap out items you want to keep • Skillmine double speed resulting in 4x speed fixed • Spawner wave information being wrong on clients is now correctly synced • Stunner module missing text for movement slow fixed • Camera movement now disabled while using the online chat • Missing sound on instax/gethit for basictower fixed • Lighting on Bright Danger map (path light) fixed • Tutorial no longer becomes broken if not followed correctly • Trigger enter for power up building making wrong calls fixed • If no power up building is affecting the tower the correct text is now shown • Speed up can no longer be triggered while the game is paused • Audio channel on soft entry music sound fixed • Buttons available again after placing object on base via inventory • Spawner can no longer reduce into negative spawn time • Reduced build size of the game resulting in faster updates/downloads • Achievements 28 & 29 (skillstar) now working correctly and retroactively • Laser (lasershard object) is now visible on Woods Forest (map 1) • Online room now closes correctly resulting in stable follow-up matches • Beast cards now contain correct translations (new save/load system) • Many translations updated and added • Removed wrong profile selecting loops (performance) • Many performance issues detected and removed • Updated the demo to the latest state • Fixed an issue where ranged beasts could get stuck when destroying a tower while stunned • Fixed ranged beast increased fire rate getting reset incorrectly • Instructions now use the correct language key

- Thunderwave (Bonus Ability)Charging. Every hit increases attack damage (reset at 0 hits) • Windforce (Bonus Ability): Erosion. Every windwave hit permanently decreases armor by -1 • Map preview improved with better text color and dynamic hover element • Monsters no longer attack anything when under a bridge • Armor now scales with monster level resulting in higher difficulty • Core mechanic improved: monster damage increases when continuously attacking the same target • Tutorial improved with clearer sequences • PowerUp select menu new format with more space for text • Object generation changed from 3D (video) to AoB animation style • Removed individual room names (online), added fixed room codes • Profiles changed from BinaryFormatter to JSON resulting in faster loading/saving and more security • Removed dates on events (Easter, Christmas) for flexible duration – Your FTD Games developer, Nico
