In anticipation of the release of the Interbellum update we have kept mostly quiet working diligently to make it the best it can be, and we wanted to thank you for your patience. We are ready to show more of the future update that will soon hit the experimental build!

As mentioned, we’ve been working as hard as ever on the update and wanted to showcase our progress. Here you can see many new parts unique to the update that was made to fit and be as cross-compatible as possible, including but not limited to the Vickers No. 1, Independent Landship, and Char B1 tanks

In addition, for experienced players who already know the game well, we will add the ability to start directly in the new era, in 1921. This is not recommended for first-time players due to the increase in complexity and difficulty.

On top of new tanks and parts, the update also brings:

  • New administrators, each with their own bonuses.

  • New facility upgrades as well as a new look to bring them into the new era

  • Additional process lines to existing buildings

  • Multiple revisions to building upgrades and maintenance costs

With new parts also comes new research. The tech tree has been greatly expanded and rebalanced for a better player experience and the ability to transition from the First World War to the Interbellum era. There are now more than 120 research nodes available to aspiring Arms Dealers!

As always, you can customize all your tank components as you see fit. Using parts from both eras you can create the best or weirdest weapons of war the world has ever seen.

A new era also means new challenges! As the new chapter of history opens for countries of the world, they will update their military forces and change their doctrines accordingly. New tank roles to fill and opponents to confront are sure to arise to make use of modern tank technologies.

Apart from the new content we’ve also worked on various quality-of-life features that were demanded by player feedback, such as:

  • Filters and sorting options for a variety of screens

  • Fast travel buttons

  • Flexible bank loans

  • New tank series display and options

  • Improved modification classifications and naming

We plan to start monthly development blogs to better keep you all up to date with the state of future updates. We want to get the Interbellum update into experimental testing within next weeks, and afterward continue onto other content updates.

Once again we wanted to thank you all for your support of Arms Trade Tycoon: Tanks as we proceed with development. Stay tuned for our future development blogs!
