fixedI am delighted to inform you about the 036 update we have just rolled out on Steam. First and foremost, we have successfully resolved the issue with loading time. Now, the game loads within seconds! There's no need to wait anymore to play AR2. We tackled this problem by providing players with a choice in how they receive in-game news. By default, news is displayed with pictures on the TV screen. However, for those with more powerful computers who prefer videos over pictures, you can change this setting in the options menu by selecting the "video news" option. Please note that in this case, you will experience a slightly longer loading time, as it was before. So now, the choice is yours: super-fast game loading with news in pictures or a longer wait time upon loading for 3D video news.
addedSecondly, we have added a windowed screen option. I have received some complaints from demo testers about the "mess on the screen." Unfortunately, this is a limitation specific to the Unity engine, and we are unable to precisely match the game screen to a player's non-standard monitor settings. The most common issue arises with widescreen monitors, such as 3440x1440. Now, players can adjust the screen in windowed mode to their desired size and view. However, please note that some tutorial graphics may not fit perfectly in windowed mode. We are unable to address this at the moment.
changedAdditionally, we have implemented several small fixes and additions. For example, we have included more hints on pop-up screens to enhance navigation through the user interface.
