Commanders!

This year, as a part of a future event, we’ll have a special Belarusian skin for you for Pantsir-S1. It is designed around a Belarusian camouflage pattern and today we’d like to tell you more about it.

The Pantsir model we have in the game is in fact based on a Belarusian chassis called GM-352M1E and was unveiled during the MILEX expo in Minsk in 2005. Belarus itself doesn’t use the Pantsir system as its mobile anti-aircraft defense needs are handled by an unknown number of 2K22 Tunguska self-propelled anti-aircraft guns.

The skin we have is therefore not exactly historical, but its camouflage pattern is based on one seen on one of Belarusian Tunguskas. It consists of a dark green base paint with light sand and grey stripes running across the entire vehicle. This pattern is not uncommon in the Belarusian army and was seen on other vehicles as well, such as various missile carriers. The vehicle also features tactical number 307, the importance of which will be unveiled later.

As with similar such skins, this one will also unlock three overprogression modules of the Pantsir:

  • Double launch system

  • Radar ability

  • Upgraded engine

We will also have a flag belonging to the Armed Forces of Belarus for you as a bonus.

We hope that you’ll enjoy the upcoming skin and, as always:

See you on the battlefield!
