We’ve deployed a hotfix for Update 0.20 to address some issues that popped up yesterday. As a reminder, this build will be playable on our Playtest Client. You can get access to the client here.

changedNote - As noted in the full 0.20 patch notes, our next major update is still expected to be 0.21, with smaller fixes released in between as needed, like this one! Our release naming will now match those accompanying fix versions, rather than ordering them alphabetically.
fixedFixed an issue where players are able to click out of the Custom Game popup and get themselves in a bad queue state by hitting the launch button rather than the correct custom game flow.

fixedFixed an unexpected UI issue that was leaking state every frame, which could cause framerate drops when repeatedly entering and exiting Training, or when players had a large friends list with long names.

CUSTOM GAMES

  • Fixed an issue where players are able to click out of the Custom Game popup and get themselves in a bad queue state by hitting the launch button rather than the correct custom game flow.

  • Fixed an issue where Spires queues in Custom Games were not properly contained to their own lobby.

PERFORMANCE

  • Fixed an unexpected UI issue that was leaking state every frame, which could cause framerate drops when repeatedly entering and exiting Training, or when players had a large friends list with long names.

OTHER

  • Fixed a bug where the Training Room was filling up with bots carried over from Customs. Surprise mosh pits should no longer happen.
