changedToday's patch is trying to lock down achievements even more for times when connections are lost, Steam misses something, etc. The system stores all achievements locally, and when you load a game it tries to update Steam in case it missed anything previously. This should be way more effective at eliminating edge cases, people coming from offline play, etc. Please let me know how it works.
