The Legacy of a game that nearly destroyed me

It has been a long time away. I am not sure if anyone will even be reading this announcement. It has been so long since I have even thought about Arena, let alone cast my eyes over this page.

I am Mike Bushell, the developer of Arena 3D. I have a love/hate relationship with my little creation. It has been an incredible first step into what life could have looked like as a game developer, but at the same time it has also given me some of my darkest days, as my obsession to succeed with Arena 3D broke apart my young family and left me as a single parent.

As a legacy to my little 3 game mode shooter, I have finally come out of Early Access and released it as a little cheap re-playable and enjoyable arcade game.

I feel like I can come back to the project after a long hiatus as I have since found love again and someone who really believes in my passion.

So, along with a new baby due in July... I feel like I can bring something new for Arena 3D in the future!

Arena isn't dead ;)
