Apocalypse - Zombie City Zombies vs. Vampires Fest Update

It’s been a while, but we’re excited to finally bring you an update we’ve been planning for some time. The Steam Zombies vs. Vampires Fest felt like the perfect opportunity to roll it out.

This update includes a variety of new features and improvements:

🔧 General Updates

• UI Enhancements

• Updated Zombie Animations

• Improved Player Animations

• Revamped Settings Menu

• FPS Cap Selection

• Updated Volume Controls

🔫 New Weapon System

• Weapon Switching – You can now switch between melee weapons, equipment, and guns using the number keys (1–3). Key mapping isn’t available yet, but it’s coming in a future update.

💣 New Equipment – Grenades

• Frag Grenade

• Scatter Grenade

• Sticky Grenade

• Warp Grenade

• Plasma Grenade

You’ll start with a limited supply of 1,000 grenades per type for now. In future updates, you'll begin with fewer but be able to purchase more using points—similar to weapon ammo.

⚔️ New Melee Weapons

• Sword

• Axe

• Mace

• Spear

• Shield

These are especially useful when you're low on ammo.

🔮 What’s Next?

• There will likely be one or two more updates before we enter Early Access. These may include:

• Additional weapon types

• New maps

Once Early Access begins, the story mode will gradually be integrated into the game.

If all goes well, we’re also planning to explore:

• Character selection

• New game modes

• Multiplayer support
