Winter has arrived in Apes Warfare, and with it comes fresh battlegrounds and community driven improvements. This update introduces two new winter themed War Arena maps, perfect for celebrating the season with tactical flair.
Thanks to your feedback, we have rolled out multiple enhancements to UI, controls, gameplay, and multiplayer systems, along with a round of bug fixes to keep the experience smooth.
New Content ❄️
Added two winter themed War Arena maps (free seasonal levels)
UI and Controls Improvements 🎮
Updated controller button layout and refreshed button visuals
Enabled unit movement using the controller D pad with improved key mapping
Improved dialog readability by darkening the background
Speech bubbles can now appear on buildings
Gameplay and UX Improvements ⚔️
Added visual indicators for counterattack ranges
Increased multiplayer timer duration
Steam IDs are no longer displayed in Campaign or War Arena modes
Multiplayer 🌐
Added all multiplayer maps to War Arena
Hovering over the timer in multiplayer now displays the remaining time
Bug Fixes 🐞
Fixed an issue where capture points did not reset correctly after joining and capturing buildings
Fixed an issue where the End Turn button appeared at the start of the tutorial
Corrected several English demo dialog texts
