addedGreen Ages ForestYep, this is that very first location that went through several iterations, and we’re finally ready to show you its final look and visuals! The area is divided into two sections - a forest and a mushroom one - adding more variety to the start of the game.
changedGreen Ages ForestDuring the development process, we took inspiration from projects like Hello Neighbor 2, Crash Bandicoot and Sonic Frontiers. After lengthy discussions and lots of experimentation, we arrived at what you see on screen now: overgrown houses, castles, mushroom-filled spots, and much more - all creating a mysterious, fantasy-like vibe.
addedAquamarine ExpanseA pixel-style underwater location that hides many untold stories and interesting things. Together with Ottis, you’ll dive into incredible depths and meet your new... flat friends? Such visual style wasn’t chosen by accident. Originally, the location was planned as a fully 2D experience, but after discussions we decided to lean into a style similar to Sonic Robo Blast 2 and other games like it, where the player moves through a kind of 3D space while controlling a 2D character.
addedAquamarine ExpanseWe really want each location to feel unique and, along with new mechanics, bring fresh emotions and reflect the core idea of the project: every location has its own visual style.
addedAquamarine ExpanseIn the next post, we’ll show off new animations for the main character and, most likely, some new mechanics as well!!! Not all of them, of course - but most.

We really want each location to feel unique and, along with new mechanics, bring fresh emotions and reflect the core idea of the project: every location has its own visual style.

In the next post, we’ll show off new animations for the main character and, most likely, some new mechanics as well!!! Not all of them, of course - but most.

Don’t forget to check out our previous post about the key art for the game.

Have a great week!
