Hi everyone, It's been a while since the last devlog, but the game has been moving forward steadily, and I have some things to share. Let's get into it.

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since the last devlog, but the game has been moving forward steadily, and I have some things to share. Let's get into it.

Chapter 3 is coming together

Since Devlog #1, I've made a lot of progress on Chapter 3. The two-character system I mentioned is now fully in place and used in puzzles: switching between Cubee and Alfred is the main feature of the whole chapter. Some puzzles require you to think about how to progress "together", which I find fun to design (even if it makes my life harder when something breaks).

I'll keep the spoilers out, here is a new puzzle that you can't solve right now :D

This second screenshot might give you a hint of where Chapter 4 is headed...

About that 2026 release date...

In the last devlog I said I was planning to finish Chapter 3 "this year" (which was 2025 at the time) and start 2026 with Chapter 4. Spoiler: Chapter 3 is 99% done now, but Chapter 4 through 5 still lie ahead.

I could try to rush things to get the game out in 2026. But I'm not going to do that. Antenna Dilemma is a game I've been building for a while, and I want it to be good, not just "done".

I'd rather be honest with you about it, so... Antenna Dilemma won't release in 2026. I'm aiming for 2027, once all 5 chapters are solid, tested and shipped properly. I know that's not what some of you were hoping to hear, but I'd rather tell you now than let you wait for nothing.

The Curious Odyssey Steam Event!

I feel super proud having Antenna Dilemma (and the two Inspector Waffles games) currently selected in a new Steam event that focuses on narrative games: the Curious Odyssey.

Brought by Revolution Software (Broken Sword series creator!) and ASH Games.

What's next?

Chapter 4. I'll start planning it while finishing up the last bits of Chapter 3 (there's still SFX, dialogue passes...). Philip is continuing to work on the music and I'm looking forward to sharing some of that in a future update.

Thanks as always for your patience and support. This game is happening, just on its own schedule.

Take care everyone,

Yann
