"The Finish Line"

I hope you are enjoying the weather where you are. I particularly enjoy the spring and fall seasons - pastel cherry blossoms and vibrant autumnal colors really inspire me. Wherever you are, I hope you're able to enjoy some sunlight in one way or another.

Today, I'd like to provide an update regarding Another Day with You

The Problem

Since launch week there have been some players who have not been able to play Another Day with You due to various reasons. I'm sorry if you wanted to play ADWY but were unable to due to crashing or hardware limitations. I understand that this was and continues to be frustrating for some players. This has been pretty troublesome to track down on my end. I've pushed a few fixes and recommendations in a guide you can find here: View on Steam

The Solution

I've updated the game to the latest Godot version, after various attempts and research, I think this is the best option. That being said, I do not know how many players are unable to play ADWY and I do not want to push a major engine update and break the experience for people who are not having issues.

That being said, you can play this "fixed" version on the beta branch - please see the Troubleshooting Guide on how to switch to the beta branch.

I'm creating this announcement as an avenue for players to report their experience with the beta branch. I will leave this up for some time and if there is good feedback from the beta branch, I will move this up to the default branch.

If you take the time to try out Another Day with You beta branch (even just to see if it launches for you without issue), please let me know your experience. It will help me make the best decision on the final version of ADWY so players can continue to experience the game.
